Texas Pete’s hot sauce review by Ragnar Snedeker

Today’s review is going to be of Texas Pete’s hot sauce. It has a decent amount of heat and a great flavor to it. Many viable uses can be found for it. Relatively mild to the taste in my opinion. Good on any meats, pasta, grits, sausage and gravy biscuits, soups, chili and pizza.

Dave’s Insanity hot sauce review by Ragnar Snedeker

Today’s review is going to be of Dave’s Gourmet Insanity hot sauce by Dave’s Gourmet hot sauce company. It has a decent amount of heat to it. This would be a hot sauce that would be worth adding to some hot pastas, pizza, sausage and gravy biscuits, as well as any meats. What I must note is that for it being an extract-based hot sauce, with the pepper extract not being detectable to the taste, a respectable amount of heat is definitely there. The only real issue is the lack of flavor. Spice factor is to my liking, however, its overall flavor is lacking. It probably would not alter the taste of food, however, its heat level gives it some appeal.

Cerberus hot sauce review by Ragnar Snedeker

Today’s review is going to be of Cerberus hot sauce by Cajohns Fiery Foods. A combination of Trinidad Douglah, Reaper and 7-Pot Primo, this three headed monster will devour your taste buds. A worthy addition to our now Legendary “Monster” line of sauces created for the discerning chili head who seeks the hottest, most flavorful creations available. My impression of this sauce is that it has a strong garlic flavor until the heat of the peppers kick in. The heat is actually quite pleasant and enjoyable. The blend of the peppers does make it difficult to tell them apart in terms of the flavor. Maybe the garlic flavor is also an influencing factor. Personally, I would definitely recommend this hot sauce to a pyromaniac or a person who wants a hot sauce with a good flavor and a good level of heat. While it is spicy and best used sparingly, I could see this sauce having a lot of uses.
